To get ready for the change in patch 5, here are a few good resources that can guide thinking, and steer away from panic and fear of the unknown.
- Wowhead’s Class Guide
- Wowhead’s MoP Talent and Glyph Calculator
- MMO Champ’s Class Discussion forums
- a list of Icy Veins class guides
- EJ’s Class forums
These are pretty much in order that you’ll be able to use them. There might be others around which are more specialised, but these are an excellent jump point.
Given that I am well out of the loop on the class changes this is a great post – thanks! 😀
I was really worried about the DK class approach, and once I took a good read through those places I felt a lot better.
Seems some classes have a way to go though in terms of raw output potential, as the simulationCraft work for the end Tier indicate that they have some adjustments to do. That said, its all rumours until we see the encounters and the actual play.
Yeah totally, it’s why I generally wait until launch of an xpac before delving into the theory craft stuff since so much can change. Right now it feels like I’m going to have to learn each class I play again, which is not necessarily a bad thing 🙂
I may be the only crazy person out there but I am going to go in with no idea of my new talents and see how I go till 90. If I haven’t figured it out by then, I will go read. Get prepared for noobie adventures!
I was worried that the classes would be too different, and so am reading to see if they appear at least in line with what I like. So far it looks OK.
