WoW Progress tells you a lot about a player, when it can get reasonable data. It will show you how many guilds they have been in, which might give an indication of their character.
When you have players come and go through guilds which affects the balance, spotting those players who are always entering and leaving on whims is handy so that they never enter in the first place. Apart from checking The Armory and other tools to check their character’s current setup, the character history can help.
For example:
- Jun 7, 2010 Mortigen joined guild Insidious
- Jun 6, 2010 Mortigen left guild Exile
- Jan 26, 2010 Mortigen changed guild Legendary with Exile
- Aug 21, 2009 Mortigen joined guild Legendary
- Aug 13, 2009 Mortigen left guild Unhinged
- Jul 4, 2009 Mortigen changed guild Legendary with Unhinged
- May 29, 2009 Mortigen left guild Unhinged
- May 28, 2009 Mortigen joined guild Legendary
Heh. What I know is I am not a guild hopper; I’ve been in Insidious for years. A few of the guys from Legendary and Unhinged are now in Insidious.
Happy hunting.
